Unlike the name implies, the majority of Oktoberfest actually takes place in September over a 2 week period. Oktoberfest 2022 is scheduled to run from 17th September to 2nd October. The most famous beer festival in the world is famous for it's multi cultural crowds, everyone dressed in traditional bavarian outfits, German schnitzels and of course lots of beer.

Enjoying Oktoberfest to its full potential will usually involve going with a large crowd of people and what better way to do it than make sure that South Africa has some sort of representation there en masse. A great way to meet Saffas from elsewhere in the UK and continental Europe as long as one gets there early enough in the day a table can be secured in one of the larger tents.

A carnival atmosphere at the festival will make this experience hard to beat and hopefully some long lasting memories. Perhaps take a camera with you just in case you overindulge yourself and fail to recollect events at the end of the trip.

With the 2020 and 2021 editions of Oktoberfest cancelled 2022 stands to be a cracker and flights and accommodation are going to get booked up very quickly. We will be offering 3 night packages to the beer festival over 2 weeks. 

 

For those who live in London there will be an option to fly from Heathrow with 3 nights accommodation whilst for those who do not live in London we can do an accommodation only package, if you have a large group of people travelling from a regional airport please get in touch and we can see what we can do in terms of group rates on the flights. The hotel will be a 3* and 15 minute walk from the festival.
